The foundation of everything in the Kingdom begins with identity, not activity. Many attempt to function without first understanding who they are, but the Order of Melchizedek does not operate that way. It begins with divine selection. According to 1 Peter 2:9, you are a chosen generation. This means your position in God is not accidental, random, or self-appointed; it is intentional.

To be chosen is to be set apart for purpose. It means that before you ever acted, performed, or qualified yourself, God had already determined your placement. This removes insecurity, comparison, and striving. You are not trying to become what you have already been called.

But being chosen is not merely about privilege it carries responsibility. It establishes expectations. If you are chosen, then your life must reflect alignment with the One who chose you.

This is where many fall short. They celebrate being chosen but resist being formed.

The Order of Melchizedek demands both.

You are chosen, but you are also being shaped, refined, and positioned to function in that calling. Identity is not the conclusion, it is the starting point.

You were chosen on purpose.

Now you must live like it.
